Admission requirements

All applicants must document the following requirements:

• Medical Doctoral Degree (minimum 3 years)
• English language proficiency
• Completed and passed the international Olympic Committee Diploma in Sports Medicine
• 2 years of documented relevant work experience
• Copy of passport information page

Additional requirements:

• Proof of financing of the tuition fee

   

Please note that changes in the admission requirements can occur prior to February 1 in the admission year.

When can you apply?

The application portal opens in August. The deadline to apply is September. You apply via Søknadsweb.

Rules for ranking applicants

You are ranked on the basis of all your grades in the admission criteria.

Documentation guidelines

• An overview of the different ways to meet the English language requirement is found on the website of Norwegian Directorate of Higher Education and Skills.
• Proof of financing of the tuition fee can be signed statements from sponsors or copy of account information showing the applicants name and required amount.
• A work certificate must include the following information in order to be accepted:
  • date when the certificate was issued
  • name and date of birth of the employee
  • duration of the employment with dates
  • employment percentage or hours per week
  • full name of the employer
  • full name and position of the legal representative of the employer signing the certificate
  • signature and stamp of the employer
     
•  All documents should be uploaded in Søknadsweb. We do not accept documents sent via email if not agreed otherwise.
• Upload your documents in the PDF- or an image format. Do not use compressed or archived files in ZIP format. 
• Make sure that the files you are uploading can be opened, and are easily readable.
• The document names should be easy to understand (for example "Diploma", "English test" etc.).
• You must upload all pages from multi-page documents as one document.

Please do not upload documents that are not required or are not requested by us.
