You can apply for admission to studies at NIH either through the Samordna opptak or Søknadsweb application portal. On this page you can find the information about the application procedures, as well as other useful information for those applying to NIH.
Samordna opptak
General information
You apply for one-year studies, bachelor- and 5-year integrated master programs through the Samordna opptak application portal.
Deadlines
The ordinary deadline to apply through Samordna opptak is April 15. However, certain applicant groups must apply within March 1. These groups are applicants:
- who require early admission
- who require special individual assessment
- applying on the basis of realkompetanse (experience-based qualification)
Application through Søknadsweb
General information
Those of you applying for online courses and programs offered where the language of instruction is English must apply through the Søknadsweb application portal. Admission requirements and specialization requirements can be found on the pages about the respective study programs.
Deadlines
All admissions that take place in Søknadsweb have varying deadlines which depend on which type of studies you are applying for. You can find the deadlines for all the studies on their respective pages. The deadline to apply for master’s programs is April 15. The deadline to apply for online courses is June 1 for the fall semester and November 1 for the spring semester.
