Both students and employees at NSSS can access the library's electronic books, journals and databases when they are off campus.
Access outside campus using a VPN-client
Students who are off campus, can use a VPN-client for easy access to the library's electronic resources. All you need, is the usename and password you use in fronter.
Employees can also use a VPN-client, and instructions (only in Norwegian) are available at IKT's pages at Innersvingen (the intranet).
If you need help with the VPN-client, the IKT-department gives support during the working hours: Monday to Friday 8-15:45 (to 15 during the summer months). You can contact them via email
or by phone number 23 26 20 02
Access outside campus with username and password
Without the VPN-client, you can't access electronic books or journals - only the databases Best Practice, ProQuest and Up To Date. To access these databases, you have to register at www.helsebiblioteket.no and then login here. Norwegian health care employees and employees at Norwegian colleges have access to these databases through Helsebiblioteket.
