Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student should be able to:

  • explain how learning, development and adaptation of movement skills occur.

  • analyse how different conditions in the training activity can promote or limit skill development, with a focus on athletes' individual needs and level within their sport.
  • strengthen the athlete's focus on relevant information during training and competition to enhance skill learning and performance.
  • Apply principles from non-linear pedagogy in planning, implementing and evaluating one's own training activities to support good skill development.
