Introduction
The course aims at how programs and activities of organizations involved with Sport for Development and Peace (SDP) contribute to sustainable development in their operating communities. The course provides students with the opportunity to reflect on the United Nations' (UN) recognition that sport enables sustainable development. In doing so, students learn how SDP programs and activities align with and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within their communities.

Despite being an online course, students must maintain contact with the course teachers should the need arise.
Work requirements
Students will deliver periodic assignments after reflecting on each of the four modules. There will be feedback on each of the assignments. The assignments are requirements for the final exams.
Students must regularly visit Canvas to submit assignments and access all learning materials (course modules, reading lists, and teacher presentations). Canvas is a digital learning platform that performs an automatic check of the visits.
