A common question is whether one can add an article (the journal's pdf version) in social networks like ResearchGate and LinkedIn. Most publishers do not allow the use of the journal's pdf version, but the latest text version. And distribution to colleagues/researchers are meant in a much smaller scale than Research Gate and LinkedIn.
You have to visit the journal's homepage to find out what is permitted. If you do not find the answer there, the library can help.
If the publisher says no to this kind of use, you can either link to the article in NVA or to the summary of the article (on the journal's website).
