From 1.8.2024, the Policy for open access to scientific publications at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (NIH) applies. The Rights Retention Strategy (RRS) is part of this policy.
The rights strategy is in line with the requirements of major research funders such as the Research Council of Norway and the EU (Plan S). Researchers who do not have such requirements from external funders have the right to opt out of open access in the knowledge archive (see below).
Procedures
- The author sends the accepted version (see explanation at the bottom of the page) of non-open access articles directly to nva@nih.no.
- The library ensures that the file is placed in NVA, with a CC BY license.
- Employees and students can exempt individual articles from this practice by requesting an exemption. Applications for exemption do not need to be justified and can be sent to nva@nih.no.
The author's accepted version is the last manuscript version after peer review (accepted manuscript, Author’s Accepted Manuscript, postprint). This is your final version after peer review, but without the journal's layout, logo, page numbers, page layout, etc.
