Rector election 2025
The staff and students of NIH will elect a new rector and pro-rector during the voting period from 1 - 8 April 2025.
Election Period
The rector election starts on 1 April. We want everyone who is eligible to vote to have the opportunity to cast their vote, and it might be wise to familiarize yourself with the following points:
- The election period lasts from 1 April at 10 AM until the election closes on 8 April at 10 AM.
- Students who are registered for the spring semester of 2025 will receive an invitation via SMS from the sender "Nettskjema" with a link to the form where you can cast your vote.
- The link to the online form is unique, sent to you personally, and you can only cast your vote once.
- Your vote is anonymous; no one has access to see who you have voted for.
- It may take some time after 10 AM on 1 April before you receive the SMS.
- The election committee will conduct the counting after the election is closed. The results will be published as soon as possible after the election outcome is clear, hopefully by the afternoon of 8 April.
