Research
In her doctoral research, Ingvild explores physical education teaching and how digital technology influences teachers and preservice teachers. Through a post-structuralist lens, she examines the possibilities and limitations that presents themselves when (preservice) teachers work to integrate digital technology in their teaching. Further how this shapes the teacher’s role. Guided by a discourse-theoretical perspective, the aim is to gain deeper insight into the ideas and assumptions about technology and physical education that influence teaching and teachers, and that define what is perceived as possible and feasible in practice.
