Background and experience
Anders Lundervold is a Ph.D. candidate at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (NIH) and conducts research on knee joint loading after ACL reconstruction as part of the ExeLoadBioPTOA project. His work involves using 3D motion capture and musculoskeletal modeling to understand loading patterns and the risk of post-traumatic osteoarthritis.
Anders holds an M.Sc. in Sport Sciences with a specialization in biomechanics from NIH.
Alongside his research, he is passionate about cross-country skiing and also works as a ski coach.
Teaching
Strength, endurance, and flexibility training; biomechanics; movement analysis and functional anatomy; musculoskeletal health; exercise performance and health coaching; health profile testing.
Research
Focuses on biomechanics, gait analysis, and musculoskeletal modeling to develop and improve training and rehabilitation strategies. A key goal is to use physical activity as an effective preventive and therapeutic tool in both clinical and performance-oriented contexts.
