NIH researchers can publish open access articles without APC / author fees in a number of journals

NIH, together with all Norwegian UH-libraries, has got agreements with the publishers Elsevier, Springer and Taylor & Francis which allow researchers to publish articles open access without APC / author fees in a number of journals.

Elsevier (ScienceDirect)

NIH has read access to the journals in ScienceDirect and open access can be published free of charge.

Titles included in the Open Access Publishing Agreement

  • How does it work for you as a researcher?
    In short: you choose open access and include NIH as your affiliation when submitting an article. The library will then receive an e-mail from the publisher and approve open access. Elsevier has posted more information about this.

Springer

In 2020, NIH has read access to the journals in SpringerLink and open access can be published free of charge.

Taylor & Francis

NIH has read access to Taylor & Francis magazines and open access can be published free of charge.
