Is from the Netherlands and has been working as an associate professor at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences since July 2011. Has master degrees in psychology and human movement sciences. Took her PhD entitled ‘Self-regulation of learning and the performance level of youth soccer players’ at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands (May, 2011). Is involved in research projects on football psychology, but is interested in other sports as well. Is responsible for the TRL331 course and also participates in other courses, where she primarily gives lectures on self-regulated learning and expertise development in sport. Likes to take the challenge of bringing research and practice in sport closer together.
