Bård Erlend is employed as a researcher at The Norwegian Research Centre for Children and Youth Sports. During the forthcoming years, Bård Erlend will collaborate with Pierre-Nicolas Lemyre in order to investigate whether there are differences between qualified coaches and parents who are engaged as coaches in Norwegian children and youth sports. The project aims to acquire new research-based knowledge concerning the difference between these two groups of coaches. In addition, the Norwegian Research Centre for Children and Youth Sports intends to develop guidelines in order to provide guidance to adults who are engaged in children and youth sports.
