Morten Renslo Sandvik is a PhD candidate in sport philosophy in the Department of Social and Cultural Studies, NIH. He graduated from NIH in 2015 with a master degree in sport science. Sandvik's PhD project is titled Anti-Doping: a sustainable ideal across all sporting forms? The project's main purpose is to explore ethical reasons for the far-reaching anti-doping ideal favored by many Western anti-doping organizations and governments–an ideal that includes not merely elite sport but mass sport and the expanding fitness industry.
