Sports medicine, handball injuries, shoulder injuries, prevention, rehabilitation
Hilde Fredriksen is a PhD candidate at Department of Sports Medicine, Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center. She is authorized as Specialist in Manual Therapy and Specialist in Sports Physiotherapy by the Norwegian Physiotherapy Federation and has a master degree in Sports Science from The Norwegian School of Sport Sciences.
Her special field of interest is shoulder injuries, prevention and rehabilitation, and she is Norwegian delegate in the European Society for Shoulder and Elbow Rehabilitation.
She has worked at The Norwegian Olympic Sports Center (Olympiatoppen) since 1992, and has served as team PT in several different national teams. She has also worked as PT during 6 Olympic Games, and was Chief PT for the Norwegian Olympic Team in London 2012 and Rio 2016.
Hilde is a former track and field athlete at international level, with a 6th place in World Championships as best.
