The other educational institutions are The Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, The University of Limerick, Ireland and The Palacky University of Olomouc, Czech Republic.

While part of the EU-programme Erasmus, the Erasmus Mundusscholarship differs from Erasmus in that it is open for applicants from all over the world and not only for European students as is the case for Erasmus. Successful applicants are chosen primarily from their academic grades.

Associate professor Liv Duesund At NSSS, is the coordinator for the programme in Norway. Guest professor Sean Tweedy from Australia will give lectures about "Increased physically active behavior among people with disabilities and sports classification".

In all, 32 students have been awarded Mundus scholarships this year, and of these 20 are from non-European countries. The students first receive an introductory course at Leuven, Beligium. After this, students will choose to go to one of the other Schools participating in the programme.

The ninbe Masters students that have chosen to come to NSSS, come from countries all over the world: South-Korea, India, Brazil, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Israel, Romania, Moldova and Finland. The students will follow an extensive programme that includes a visit to the Rehabilitation Center at Sunnaas Hospital and to the Beitostølen Healtsport Centre.

Next group of Mundus students that will visit NSSS, arrives in January.
