Reference Manager

Reference Manager is a tool for saving, organizing and retrieval of references.

The software is used together with a text editor (i.e. Word) and is an effective aid in publishing and the production of literature lists.

NSSS has a site-license for Reference Manager - for installation contact the IT-department.

Contact librarian Karianne Hasledalen if you have any questions.

Before you start to use Reference Manager, we recommend that you change some of the settings. Here you'll find a list over these settings.

For more information about Reference Manager, visit Reference Manager's site.

Have you used version 11?

  • Be sure that your database(s) is saved at H: before you install/uninstall!
  • If you have used version 11, you have to convert your database(s) to version 12.

When version 12 is installed, you'll have to chose Output-style in your text editor documents with Reference Manager code once more.

We recommend that you only use version 11 or 12, not one version at home an one at work.
