Our collections are registered in BIBSYS Ask, which is a shared library system for all Norwegian University Libraries, the National Library and a number of research libraries. Our library code in BIBSYS is NIH. Publications by our employees/projects concerning research within the field of sport are registered in Cristin (before 2011 in FORSKDOK).

 

The collections in the library cover the following subject areas in addition to sports and physical education: sociology, research methods, psychology, sports medicine, anatomy, physiology, administration and management. We also have an extensive collection containing jubilee books of Norwegian national and local sports federations.
 
Reservations
Staff and students may order copies/books from other libraries without paying when the desired material is not available at this library.

 

External users (not staff or students at NSSS) who are unable to show up in person, can order photocopies of articles from the library's collection. The library charges a fee of NOK 60,- for this service. The articles will be sent to the user by mail.
