Tonje Wåle Flørenes is a medical doctor educated from Lund,  Sweden 2004. She had her internship in Lillehammer and continued to work 9 months as a registrar at the Orthopaedic department there before she started as a PhD-student at the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center. Tonje has also been team doctor for the Norwegian women soccer team 2007-08 and was one of the doctors in the Norwegian Olympic team during the Olympic Games in Beijing
