Short biography
Kathrin Steffen, PhD, is a researcher at the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center. Besides her studies in Norway, she has a Master degree from The German Sports University in Cologne (Diplom Sportwissenschaft) where she additionally has taken up-grading courses in Therapeutical Training and Physiotherapy.
In February 2008, she defended her thesis "Injuries in female youth football - prevention, performance and risk factors". Her primary research field is sports injury prevention, with focus on female youth football.
Kathrin is a former tennis player and enjoyed competitive triathlon too.
