Foredragets tittel er: From physics to applied measuring and analysis technology in sport with emphasize on alpine skiing.
Her er Matej Supejs introduksjon:
"The first part of the lecture will start with the role of physics, understandment and technology in sport. It will be shown that basic physical understandment is crucial also for coaches and not only the experts and/or scientist. Some short examples will be presented in the beginning for illustration.
In the second part it will be presented how from mechanical principles of turning skis basic predictions for the “new” single motion carving technique were led out. In this case mechanical modelling and technology were working hand in hand to prove why the new technique is more appropriate and faster as well.
The last part of the lecture will mainly be devoted to technology used in mechanics of sport. In this section also the latest findings in usage of GNSS technology and inertial motion tracking sensors will be discussed."
Foredraget foregår i auditorium C ved Norges idrettshøgskole.
Vel møtt!
