Enrollment in the PhD program is based on the application. An applicant must have completed a two-year master education in sport sciences (120 ECTS credits, or "studiepoeng" in Norwegian) with an average B score.

All candidates enrolled at the doctorate program at NIH will be affiliated with one of the scientific departments. The head of this department and the office manager are your main contact persons for practical issues.

All candidates shall make an annual report on their progress. Candidates enrolled after August 1st, 2020 shall also receive a mid-term evaluation of their PhD project.
