Most publishers have regulations for the use of articles published in their journals. Before a Ph.D.-thesis is submitted, one has to check what the publishers allow - and in some cases one have to obtain permission to use articles.
Elin Hecker at the library can assist in checking the publishers regulations. In order to this, she needs a list of the papers (author, title, journal, year) and information about which version you are using (submitted, accepted, final text version or the journal's pdf version).
This should be done before the thesis is submitted (preferably one month prior), because it can take some time to get an answer from the publishers.
