The field trips will give you the opportunity to see many different aspects and areas of traditional Norwegian outdoor life.
Below you will find links to the course plans for the three courses in the Outdoor Studies "package". Together, these three courses satisfy the demanded full-time workload for one semester. Due to several field trips, these courses cannot be combined with any other courses.
EXFLL1 Philosophy and Practice (10 ECTS)
EXFLL2 Experiental Learning in Natural Landscapes (10 ECTS)
EXFLL3 Comparative Research Project (10 ECTS)
You will need to bring your own equipment for the Outdoor Studies - Friluftsliv courses. Use the link below to find out more about what equipment is compulsory and what equipment is recommended. We have also included some information about extra costs and expenses associated with the field trips.
We can admit 15 exchange students to the outdoor life course package. NSSS reserves the right to rank the applicants.
