Note that we only accept exchange students from partner universities. You must apply through your home university. To get the most out of your studies at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences, we recommend that you have completed at least one year of full-time studies at your home university.
Application deadlines for exchange students:
Autumn semester (August-December): 1 May
Spring semester (January-June):1 October
The application
Please contact your institutional or departmental coordinator at your home university to find out if you are eligible for exchange to the Norwegian School of Sport Science. You must be nominated and apply through your home university.
If you are selected and nominated by your home university, you have to fill in the Application for Admission form and the ECTS Learning Agreement form.
Attachments
In addition to the Application Form and Learning Agreement, the following must be attached to the application:
- Transcript of records in English or a Scandinavian language. The transcript must be stamped and signed from your home university. The transcripts are essential in order to decide whether you are qualified for admission to the courses you apply for.
- Motivation letter in English or a Scandinavian language
- Recommendation letter in English or a Scandinavian language
- Photo
The application papers must be sent from the International Office/coordinator at your home institution. We would like to have the scanned application and attachments in an e-mail, and then the original via regular mail sent to the following address:
