Area of responsibility

Haraldsen is a PhD student at the department of coaching and psychology and The Norwegian Research center for children and Youth Sport.  She is teaching educational science at the teacher education in performing arts at Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Teaching and supervision topics of educational psychology, educational philosophy, didactics and educational sociology. Main areas are aesthetic learning and competence, curriculum theory and identity. The PHD project at NSSS is focusing on motivation and talent development.

Short biography

  • Professional dancer and dance teacher.

  • Master in educational science with the title “the aesthetic human being- conditions for conducting a more aesthetic education”.
  • Experience from leading and teaching in a ballet school in more than 15 years.
  • Developed dance curriculum for highs school and culture schools (leisure activity parallel to sport activity).
  • Editor for teaching aids in dance.
  • Leader for the teacher education in performing arts.
